Busting Out

A cavvy breaks through a wooden railing enclosure. One horse in the foreground has fallen. No human is represented in this early scene, only fear stricken horses. The "Busting Out" motif was repeated in several similar paintings by the artist..

The painting was originally owned by Dr. Lek (John) Murchinson, Athens, TX.
